Meta World Studio
Designated Driver: Night Shift (“the game”, “we”, “our”) is a single-player driving game published by Meta World Studio. This policy explains what information the game handles, what our advertising partner collects, and the choices you have.
Your progress, settings and best scores are saved locally on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere, they are not linked to any account, and they are deleted when you delete the game. The game has no login, no account and no profile.
The game is free and is funded by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process information from your device in order to select, deliver and measure advertisements. That can include:
This collection is carried out by Google, not by us. We never receive your advertising identifier and we cannot identify you from it. Google’s handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, and you can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
On first launch the game asks for your permission using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Declining costs you nothing in the game. Every feature works exactly the same either way. You can change your mind at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and you can reset your advertising identifier in Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.
The game offers optional rewarded video ads: watching one can clear a strike, and one is offered at the eye doctor. These are always optional. Nothing in the game is locked behind watching an ad, and declining never costs you progress.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, contacts, photos, health data, financial information or precise location. The game does not use a microphone or a camera. There is no chat, no messaging, no social features and no user-generated content. There are no in-app purchases.
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. It contains advertising. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern, contact us at the address below.
Game data lives on your device and is protected by your device’s own security. We hold no servers and no database of players.
Because nothing is stored about you off your device, there is no account to delete. Deleting the game removes all local data. To limit ad personalisation, use the Apple settings described above.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
