Independent games, built from scratch.

A one-person studio. Everything shipped here is written, not assembled.

Designated Driver: Night Shift

A first-person night driving game where the difficulty curve is your eyesight. You are the designated driver. Everyone else had a perfectly nice evening. You are the one who cannot see.

Fifteen hand-authored nights of getting people home while streetlights bloom into halos, road signs turn to suggestions, and the GPS on your dash becomes a smear of light you have to guess at. Real traffic law, properly enforced, and police who have to actually witness you. Then endless mode keeps going as long as you can.

Free, ad-supported. iPhone, landscape. No accounts, no in-app purchases.

About the studio

Meta World Studio builds small, hand-made games. No engine templates, no purchased asset packs, no reskins. Designated Driver renders in a custom WebGL pipeline, and every sound in it is synthesised live at runtime — there is not a single recorded sample in the game.
